V for Victory!

...and V for Vicki. A look back at 2004 and nod ahead to 2005. Shout out to my ladies! Ok, don't ask about this, just know that we are weird.

Here is the V for Victory that I am actually talking about:

Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow...

..not in ol' Bernie's case. I have been reading up on him and his trial lately and I am very happy the no-good lying son of a you-know-what is going away for a very long time. Good riddance to bad rubbish!

BREAKING NEWS: Bernard Madoff, the mastermind behind the largest and most sweeping Ponzi scheme ever, was sentenced to 150 years in prison.--CNN.com breaking news

Jackie Is Having Her Baby!!!

So, last night Jackie, Trav, Kari, Brent and I went down to the Terrace to watch the fireworks. We were talking with Jackie about how she is ready to be done being pregnant. She was at that point that every pregnant woman gets to...severely uncomfortable. Kari says something to the effect that she thinks Jackie is going to have it tomorrow (meaning today) and sure enough at 2:30 am Jackie's water broke and the little guy was ready to join the rest of the world. Yay! I am so excited! I can't wait to see the little one!

Just Dance!

This is really cool. I haven't seen the YouTube video yet but this little piece says something about Michael Jackson and it says something very profound about dance and its therapeutic qualities. Maybe American prisons should take a tip from this Phillipine prison.

Michael Jackson Videos: The Best Of The Best

Michael Jackson Videos: The Best Of The Best

I know that his later years were marred with some extremely disturbing things but he was just so talented and was extremely important to the music industry. I have been sad about Michael Jackson for many, many years and this is no different. You will be extremely missed.

"As the world mourns the death of Michael Jackson, it will not only be the songs by which we remember the King of Pop. Michael revolutionized the art of the music video -- using choreography, costume, dance, drama, celebrities and, of course, his own persona to create something visually spectacular to go with his music."--quoted from the Huffington Post

They Are Just So Clever!

I wish just once you'd send me an email filled with as much passion as a Family Values governor has for his Argentinian mistress

I Love T-Shirts

Another addiction I have is with T-shirts. I have many of them and, to be honest, I would have so many more if I had more money. Here are a few from a website I like called Snorg Tees:

Too funny! I take a Medium. Thanks.

And one more that I missed the other day...

They will be missed.

The Great Game

"What are the rules? I said & she said, Do exactly what I want whenever I want, make no demands of me whatsoever & love me forever, no questions asked & I said, how do you win? & she said, you don't understand. I'm the only one who wins & then she laughed & clapped her hands. Isn't it a great game? she said."

Another Brian Andreas, StoryPeople that totally pertains to me. I happen to have found a wonderful man that does pretty much all of this. He is my best friend and I love him. Even though he a goof like this pic dully displays:

Here is a somewhat better pic of him which also includes our friend Steve:

He talks during and makes fun of my reality TV shows (I have an addiction), he tells the worst stupid jokes and he is a music snob but he makes me laugh and takes care of me always. I love you, Mikey!!

Today is International Disturbed People's Day

I received this forward from my aunt today and here is the beginning quote of the message:

"I don't care if you lick windows,
take the special bus
or occasionally pee on yourself...
You hang in there sunshine, you're special!
"

This is to all of my disturbed friends out there. We may be crazy and disturbed but at least were not uninteresting and boring. Crazy is as crazy does.

A Beautiful Moment to End the Day

I hope my night is somewhat like this while I am sitting on my couch, watching my horrible reality TV and eating cheese and crackers...yes, I like the simple things in life.

It looks like you have an Oscar in there....

and I don't mean the award. Here is my lovely pregnant friend Jackie and her equally as lovely husband Travis. Awww! So cute! I stole these pics from Jackie's blog but I just needed to show these adorable pics.

And here is Oscar.

That is what Claire and I want Jackie and Trav's little baby boy to be named. Kari wants Dylan and I think Mariah might want Owen. They have two other names picked out but I don't remember them. They are going to wait until they meet the little guy before they name him.

Isn't she just the cutest preggo lady ever!! I am so excited for them I could just cry. And this baby has done something that only the President of the United States, Barack Obama, has done...make our friend Kari so emotional she cries. This baby is going to be very loved and, most importantly, spoiled, with a little dash of punk on the side (we all tend to be opinionated and a bit mouthy so the kid doesn't have too much of a chance there).

My friend Molly is also preggo but I do not have a picture of her. She is having a baby girl (think only pink tutus cause that is all this kid will be wearing) with her lovely significant other, Ben. Molly is also super cute but again, you can't see her cause I don't have a pic of her right now. I will get on that (that's what she said...yes, again!). She is so incredibly cute preggo, too! I hope I look half as good as they do when I'm pregnant.

I did say I would be pregnant before I am 30 cause I want to be a relatively young mom...I only have 2.5 years to go. It kind of makes me throw up in my mouth a bit thinking about it but I really do want them soon. Now, if only I can get over that alcoholism thing.

Quote From Molly's Blog

"It's not easy to swallow."

I say, that's what she said....Yes!!!

This Is How I Roll

...especially on days where it is 92 degrees with the heat index at 98 degrees. Bring on the tan...and the drinks...and the smokes!

I don't use sunscreen because my lifestyle makes it far more likely my liver, lungs, or heart will deteriorate before my skin

The University of Andy

I just enrolled in the University of Andy. Here is my ID.

Pratt
Maggi

Major:
Holding Your Liquor
Minor:
Bear Attacks

I actually pretty much have mastered the holding the liquor so that shouldn't be too hard but I have always wanted to learn how to survive a bear attack. I know Andy is just the professor to do it. Stay tuned.

A Lesson Everyone Should Learn

I love Andy Botwin, disgusting yet loveable brother-in-law of Nancy Botwin, the wheelin', dealin' suburban turned neighborhood-by-the-beach supplier. Kevin Nealon just gets my goat, too. Love this show!
